Atomship Friends

Hey momma! Can’t you see I’m fuckin’ cookin’?

It wasn’t right for me but I knew it was time for home.

It was half past ten but all the lights were on.

Did you read his face as blank as it was.

Well mother would sit him down as strictly where he was.

And he said…

All my friends, are bloated and floating away.

I left all my friends back around the bend.

The water turned to black as the night rolled on in.

I couldn’t hear a sound as I slowly turned around.

There I saw my friends all god damn face down.

And he said…

All my friends, are bloated and floating away.

And I walk on down, I don’t feel the pain.

And I’ll raise my eyes.

Won’t you let me raise my eyes?

Momma let me raise my eyes?

Won’t you let me raise my eyes again?

All my friends, are bloated and floating away.

Atomship Aliens

I am the alien.

Sitting on my front porch step.

Whittling without a care.

Sitting in this rocking chair.

I am the alien!

We are the aliens.

Standing here with our hands down.

Whittling without a care.

Sitting by this rocking chair.

We are the aliens!

Sitting and waiting and waiting and watching and watching and waiting cause I am the alien.

Wishing and hoping and hoping and praying and praying and hoping that we are the aliens.

Hold me down to the floor.

Chains and whips you wish for more.

Hold me down to the floor.

Cause we are the aliens!

Atomship Agent Orange

This is how you hold your American flag.

This is how you hold your American flag.

So this is how you hold your patri-fucking-otic flag.

We’re all a bunch of fucking disgraces!

There sits and old man he’s writing and typing and paying his tax to the law.

I see him through the window sill.

There you are laughing and joking and waiting and praying for life to be free.

And I know that you mean him well.

Stands up anger and walks to the doorway where he can yell clearly at me.

And I’m not sure I know what he means.

Losing track of days.

Staring to sky.

As the old man yells.

So this is how you hold your American fucking, fucking flag!

So this is how you hold your funny little flag?

Losing track of days.

Staring to the sky.

As the old man dies.

As the old man dies. [x2]

Atomship Dragonfly

Driving round in your car, the thoughts are piled up very, very far.

Did you know the time?

Did you happen to read the last three mile marker signs?

A bright flash of white, flashed before my eyes.

Along with the centipedes, the birds, and the dragonflies.

But did you know I loved you more than I could ever show?

And did you know that something deep inside you that would fail to grow?

And did you see there’s something inside of me?

But did you know the tales of the dragonfly?

Riding round my car, I look up just in time to see I’ve one too far.

And where we?

Well you’re not here you’re back where you’re supposed to be.

I miss your hair.

I yell unto a passing man but he just stares.

He stares at me, well, seeing what he wants to inside.

But did you know I loved you more than I could ever show?

And did you know that something deep inside you that would fail to grow?

And did you see there’s something inside of me?

But did you know the tales of the dragonfly?

You’ll come crashing round, bleeding me, holding me down, I think I like it.

You’ll come crashing round, around, around.

But did you know I loved you more than I could ever show?

And did you know that something deep inside you that would fail to grow?

And did you see there’s something inside of me?

But did you know the tales of the dragonfly?

You’re my dragonfly! Dragonfly! Dragonfly!

Atomship Pencil Fight

This life spreads like cancer as nothing here is real.

Leave me here by the bus stop with my pencil made of steel.

So it’s time. It’s just time….

Well I’m not much for the classroom teacher teach me if you care.

I can’t pay much attention with that ruler in your hand.

So it’s just time.

Cause I’m thinkin’ Pencil fight, here we are.

Pencil fight, break me down.

Well I’m not much for the schoolyard teacher catch me if you can.

Ya leave me here by the swing set with my pencil broke in hand.

Oh it’s fine. Shattered shards of graphite as they’re flying through the air.

I’ll open eyes quite slowly with the splinters in my hair.

So it’s time.

Cause I’m thinkin’. Pencil fight, here we are. Pencil fight, break me down.

It’s just time, oh my, oh my…..

“In this world no one leaves alone.

For the only way we leave is in death and in death my friends ya leave with one thing and that one thing is pride.

And pride throughout changes in time between the sky that you love to the ground that you hate.

Pride between everything that once was your pride, can never die.”

Pencil fight, here we are. Pencil fight, break me down.

Don’t you see we have problems here? Problems here at my home

Atomship Day Of Daze

Proven in theory your heart can be lost by the brain.

Staring hard the devil is just out of frame.

Mother where are you?

I love you I’m right here.

Twisting and turning and loving and braiding your hair.

It was a good day she died.

It was a good day to die and run from the night.

It was a good day to die, she died.

Help me I’m wasted my heart has been lost in the rain.

Covered in ashes and dust my tears pump through your veins.

Father where are you?

I thought you were my friend.

Well I’ll be your mother, your Mary, your Jesus and Zen.

It was a good day she died.

It was a good day to die and run from the night.

It was a good day to die, she died.

With her head this close to the floor, I feel so alive.

She died.

It was a good day to die and run from the night.

It was a good day to die, she died.

Just let me die old. She let me die old, she died.

Just let me die old.

Just let me die old, she died.
