Colton Dixon Dare To Believe

I was just a kid when I heard about the stories

Of the prophets, teachers

Priests, kings, and queens

Of water turned to wine

How You brought the dead to life

They were more than words

They were truth to me

We get older, life gets harder

We grow farther away

And lose the faith we fought so hard to keep

I will dare to believe

That You are the Savior

Living in me

And I know You always will be

The God of the impossible

The God of every miracle

Here for the world to see

I dare to believe

If you were just some carpenter from nowhere

An ordinary man with ordinary news

Then we would not be here

Still claiming You all these years

We believe the stories

Because they’re true

Some might call me crazy

But I’m no fool

I will dare to believe

That You are the Savior

Living in me

And I know You always will be

The God of the impossible

The God of every miracle

Here for the world to see

I dare to believe

You are the Son of God

You lived and died for us

You’re here and You are still alive

You are the Son of God

You lived and died for us

You’re here and You are still alive

I will dare to believe

That You are the Savior

Living in me

And I know You always will be

The God of the impossible

The God of every miracle

Is here for the world to see

I will dare to believe

You are the Son of God

You lived and died for us

You’re here and You are still alive

(I will dare to believe)

You are the Son of God

You lived and died for us

You’re here and You are still alive

Dare to believe

Dare to believe

I dare to believe

Colton Dixon In My Veins

In the dark, when I’m lost, I can hear you calling

But I know, I’m not alone, I can feel you on the inside

In my heart, in my mind

Through the night, through the storm

You’re my shelter

When I can’t see the light, you’re the one leading the way

You’re the fire in my veins

I am alive, I am revived

Dying, you saved me

Brought me back to life

No grave can hold me down

For you are with me, in me, all around

Forever, I was changed

When you wrote your name, in my veins

To the left, to the right, I would wonder

But you break every chain away

I was a slave, a sleeper, now awake

I am alive, I am revived

Dying, you saved me

Brought me back to life

No grave can hold me down

For you are with me, in me, all around

Forever, I was changed

When you wrote your name, in my veins

Look and see, there’s no part of me, uncovered by your love

A calming sea, surrounding me, a calling from above

Open me up and you’ll find on my heart that there’s only one name

No, nothing will ever come close to comparing, there’s only one name

When you wrote your name

You wrote your name in my veins

I am alive, I am revived

Dying, you saved me

Brought me back to life

No grave can hold me down

For you are with me, in me, all around

Forever, I was changed

When you wrote your name, in my veins

Colton Dixon The Other Side

Everybody’s dressed in black

The preacher’s saying life goes too fast

The memories have turned to tears

Thinking back on all the years

I know that you’re in a better place

But I’m still here missing you today

It isn’t easy to say goodbye

But I know it’s only for a little while

Run up ahead and I will catch up

‘Cause I’m gonna see you when tomorrow comes

On the other side

On the other side

I bet you feel you’re finally home

Running down those streets of gold

The kind of peace you can’t explain

Looking into Jesus’ face

I know that you’re in a better place

I know I’ll be joining you someday

It isn’t easy to say goodbye

But I know it’s only for a little while

Run up ahead and I will catch up

‘Cause I’m gonna see you when tomorrow comes

On the other side

Where there are no more goodbyes

No more pain, no more tears left to cry

We will join with the angels singing their song

Praising our savior, all the day long

It isn’t easy to say goodbye

But I know it’s only for a little while

Run up ahead and I will catch up

‘Cause I’m gonna see you when tomorrow comes

On the other side

On the other side

On the other side

On the other side

Colton Dixon Down

Sometimes it’s hard to see what is in front of me

I need a hand to pull me from the shadows

No shackles on my feet, they’re just a memory

I need Your strength to rise above the shallows

I’ve walked through fire and weathered pain

Felt emotion like a hurricane

There’s gotta be a better way

Hear me when I say

I was a wreck

Oh, I was shattered and bruised

Then You tore down the dark

And Your love broke through

Down on my knees

‘Cause I couldn’t be found

Now I’m filled with Your peace

As Your love comes down

Down, down, down, down, down

Down, down, down, down, down

I was a broken man living in a broken land

Then You arrived, a love worthy to follow

I could’ve stayed in pain forever and a day

Then just in time, You filled up what was hollow

I’ve walked through fire and weathered pain

Oh, like a hurricane

I was a wreck

Oh, I was shattered and bruised

Then You tore down the dark

And Your love broke through

Down on my knees

‘Cause I couldn’t be found

Now I’m filled with Your peace

As Your love comes down

Down, down, down, down, down

As Your love comes down

Down, down, down, down, down

I was a wreck

Oh, I was shattered and bruised

Then You tore down the dark

And Your love broke through

Down on my knees

‘Cause I couldn’t be found

Now I’m filled with Your peace

As Your love comes down

I was a wreck

Oh, I was shattered and bruised

Then You tore down the dark

And Your love broke through

Down on my knees

‘Cause I couldn’t be found

Now I’m filled with Your peace

As Your love comes down

Down, down, down, down, down

As Your love comes down

Down, down, down, down, down

As Your love comes

Your love comes down

Down, down, down, down, down

Colton Dixon Breathe

I swear these thoughts are nothing but static

Busy but I just can’t break the habit

Got me hidden inside it’s some kind of magic

But it’s never too late, for something drastic

When the madness moves me to the edge

You say come to me and you’ll find rest

So I’ll breathe it in

My soul needs oxygen

Without you I’m incomplete

Something in the air

In the atmosphere

You’re pulling me like gravity

Gotta be (gotta be) still and

Breathe (breathe) breathe

Be still and

Breathe (breathe) breathe

I know your word is worth my attention

But I lose your voice when I stand at a distance

I wanna feel your heartbeat moving again

How can I when I won’t shut up and listen

When distractions drive me to the edge

You say come to me and you’ll find rest

So I’ll breathe it in

My soul needs oxygen

Without you I’m incomplete

Something in the air

In the atmosphere

You’re pulling me like gravity

Just gotta be (gotta be) still and

Breathe (breathe) breathe

Be still and

Breathe (breathe) breathe

Breathe (breathe)

Be still and

Breathe (breathe) breathe

So I’ll breathe it in

My soul needs oxygen

Without you I’m incomplete

Something in the air

In the atmosphere

You’re pulling me like gravity

Just gotta be (gotta be) still and

Breathe (breathe) breathe

Be still and

Breathe (breathe) breathe

Be still and

Breathe (breathe) breathe

Breathe (breathe) breathe

Colton Dixon Anchor

My heart’s a ship lost out at sea

I’m drifting further from Your reach

Worn down by the waves and wind

It comes down to sink or swim

You are the one thing that I need

This is my only hope

That You’ll never let me go

I need an anchor

To hold me through the storm

I see the danger

Can’t fight it on my own

I’m crying out, I’m going down

On the edge and I need You now, my Savior

I need an anchor

I need an anchor

See lightning tearing up the sky

My darkest fears are on the rise

But so is my undying faith

Cause I know You walk on waves

Speak peace be still into our lives

I need an anchor

To hold me through the storm

I see the danger

Can’t fight it on my own

I’m crying out, I’m going down

On the edge and I need You now, my Savior

I need an anchor

Save our soul, save our soul, save our soul…

This is my only hope

That You’ll never let me go

I need an anchor

To hold me through the storm

I see the danger

Can’t fight it on my own

I’m crying out, I’m going down

On the edge and I need You now, my Savior

I need an anchor

To hold me through the storm

I see the danger

Can’t fight it on my own

I’m crying out, I’m going down

On the edge and I need You now, my Savior

I need an anchor

I need an anchor

Colton Dixon More Of You

I made my castle tall

I built up every wall

This is my kingdom and it needs to fall

I want you and no one else

Empty me of myself

Until the only thing that’s left is

More of you

Less of me

Make me who I’m meant to be

You’re all I want all I need

You’re everything

Take it all I surrender

Be my king

God I choose

More of you and less of me

I need more of you

More of you

This life I hold so close

Oh, God I let it go

I refuse to gain the world and lose my soul

So take it all I abandon everything I am

You can have it

The only thing that I need is

More of you

Less of me

Make me who I’m meant to be

You’re all I want all I need

You’re everything

Take it all I surrender

Be my king

God I choose

More of you and less of me

I need more of you

More of you

All to you

I surrender

All to you my blessed savior

I surrender all

All to you

I surrender

All to you my blessed savior

I surrender all

More of you

Less of me

Make me who I’m meant to be

You’re all I want all I need

You’re everything

Take it all I surrender

Be my king

God I choose

More of you and less of me

I need more of you

More of you

All to you

I surrender

All to you my blessed savior

More of you

I need more of you

Colton Dixon THE BODY

The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, I don’t need you. If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything? How strange a body would be if it had only one part? If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it and if one part is of it, all parts are glad. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ’s body and each of you is a part of it.

Colton Dixon Autopsy

Tear apart, my heart and soul

My every inch, take it all

But I am more than skin and bones

I am

I am more

Looking inside

Through a different lense

Seeing my life

But missing the point of it

We’re all one heart beat from heaven

We’re all one heart beat from heaven

So tear apart, my heart and soul

My every inch, take it all

But I am more than skin and bones

I am

I am more

Life, it takes your breath away

And doesn’t give it back

Even if you ask

Even if you plead

Get down on your knees

It’s out of your control

Where you gonna go?

Life, it takes your breath away

And doesn’t give it back

Even if you ask

So tear apart, my heart and soul

My every inch, take it all

But I am more than skin and bones

I am

I am more

Tear apart, my heart and soul

My every inch, take it all

But I am more than skin and bones

I am

I am more

Colton Dixon All That Matters

I’ve tasted hopelessness

I know what heartache is

But somehow through all of it

Your love remains

I’ve lived through brokenness

Feeling faceless

But I’m not anonymous

You know my name

Your word is

A light unto my feet

Your love is

My identity

All that matters

Is You make all things new

There’s no disaster

That You cannot undo

This world will fade, and life will change

Yeah, all of this is true

But all that matters

Is that I matter

To You

You’ve counted every breath

Each hair upon my head

You know exactly who I am

And will always

So I stand with confidence

On all Your promises

Your love is evidence

You know my name

All that matters

Is You make all things new

There’s no disaster

That You cannot undo

This world will fade, and life will change

All of this is true

But all that matters

Is that I matter, yeah

All that matters is Your love will never fade

All that matters is You’re for me for always

All that matters is Your love will never fade

All that matters is You’re for me for always

Your word is

A light unto my feet

Your love is

My identity

All that matters

(All that matters)

Is You make all things new

There’s no disaster

(No disaster)

That You cannot undo

This world will fade, and life will change

All of this is true

But all that matters

Is that I matter

To You

All that matters

Yeah

All that matters is Your love will never fade

All that matters is You’re for me for always

All that matters is Your love will never fade

All that matters is You’re for me for always
